An Exotic Trek to Morocco
October 14-21, 2026
Casablanca, Marrakech, Rabat, Tangier; these exotic place names roll off the tongue like localities in a mystery novel or the scenes of a beloved old black and white film. One of the most desired destinations on the planet, Morocco is the landing spot of our Alma de Tango Fall trip. Come see this place of jeweled-tone lamps, mosaic tiles, flowing kaftans and stunning Moorish and Art Deco architecture.
Our first four enchanting days and nights will be spent in Casablanca (Here’s looking at you, kid - Humphrey Bogart) We took the converging spot of centuries of civilizations; Moors, Spaniards, Arabs, Jews and Berbers, threw in passionate nights of tango, world-class cuisine and shopping in the bazaars, and brewed up the ingredients of the ultimate escape.
Next, we are off to Marrakech, with its cosmopolitan flair, world-famous souk and alluring music for 3 days and nights.
As midnight arrives at the oasis, after you send your camel to bed, we might have one more tango in us to close out the night.

Frequently Asked Questions about Tango Trips
Yes, absolutely. This journey is designed for all levels, including complete beginners. You do not need prior tango experience to enjoy the trip. Tango is woven into the cultural experience, and participation is always encouraged but never forced. Many travelers come simply to experience New Orleans, its music, culture, and atmosphere.
Yes — and this is very common. You do not need to come with a dance partner.
We are joined by professional local tango dancers at all social events, which means everyone will always have a partner available to dance with. This creates a welcoming, inclusive experience and allows you to fully enjoy the social tango culture without any pressure or awkwardness.
Whether you arrive solo or with friends, you’ll feel supported, included, and confident throughout the journey.

Frequently Asked Questions about Milongas
A Milonga is a social gathering where dancers come together to enjoy the art of Argentine Tango. It’s not a class — it’s an evening of music, elegance, and connection, where experienced and new dancers alike share the floor in a beautiful celebration of culture and rhythm.
Absolutely! Many of our guests come from Salsa and Bachata communities who are curious to experience Tango’s grace and tradition. The energy is different — more intimate and expressive — but the passion for dance is the same. We welcome all who love music, movement, and social dancing.
Our Milonga Anniversary is held annually, and the next date will be announced soon. Join our list to receive the official event details, including location, ticket release, and featured performances.
Not at all. Our Milonga welcomes everyone — whether you’re dancing solo, with a partner, or simply attending to enjoy the atmosphere. The evening is about community, connection, and the shared love of Tango.
