Tango Trips

Days of Wine and Tango
The Journey from Mendoza to Buenos Aires
February 8-15, 2026
This year’s journey begins in the central northern Argentine city of Mendoza. Situated just east of the Andes mountains, Mendoza features a geography of foothills and high plains. These elevations are perfect for grape production, making Mendoza the foundational home of Malbec wines and one of the most renowned wine-producing places on earth. The nearby mountains also make Mendoza an ecotourism destination for mountaineering, biking, horseback riding, and rafting. Explore with us, Mendoza’s main central square and four bordering smaller plazas with some incredible culinary surprises lined up each night, and unique Tango destinations to discover for the first time.
After four days and three nights in this charming, rural regional capital, we are off to the big city, Buenos Aires, for five days and four nights, featuring more tango, some curated shopping, and a new twist on local touring. It will be summertime in Buenos Aires, and the local populace will be out strolling, biking, and enjoying their beautiful city. To be in Buenos Aires on St. Valentine’s Day, what an ideal arrangement to experience the romantic allure of Argentina!

Yes — and this is very common. You do not need to come with a dance partner.
We are joined by professional local tango dancers at all social events, which means everyone will always have a partner available to dance with. This creates a welcoming, inclusive experience and allows you to fully enjoy the social tango culture without any pressure or awkwardness.
Whether you arrive solo or with friends, you’ll feel supported, included, and confident throughout the journey.

Absolutely! Many of our guests come from Salsa and Bachata communities who are curious to experience Tango’s grace and tradition. The energy is different — more intimate and expressive — but the passion for dance is the same. We welcome all who love music, movement, and social dancing.
