The Iberian Peninsula historically hosted two great maritime empires. Many are familiar with the story of Spain, but Spain’s smaller neighbor is packed full of wonder and charm … and we headed there. Welcome to "Alma de Tango’s Outono Na Bela Portugal”! From October 22nd, to October 28th, we will be gathered at the Ivens Hotel, an elegant historic beauty in Bario Alto Chiado of Lisbon. Themed after Portugal’s exotic age of empire, the hotel channels adventure and discovery.
Surrounded by the beautiful tonal qualities of the Portuguese language, we will inform our palates with the unique offerings of Portuguese cuisine and then afterwards dance the night away in this city of rolling hills and breathtaking vistas of the sea. The local milongas are awaiting our arrival. By day, we will explore the history of Lisbon and shop the unique botiques for which the city is known.
